I haven’t been actively posting on the main social media sites for months, but lately, I’ve been feeling the itch to increase my online presence. However, I’m not inclined to revert to openly sharing every aspect of my daily life and thoughts. Instead, I want to be deliberate in how I utilize my various accounts.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been experimenting with treating Instagram as a platform for sharing art, and I’ve found it interesting. This shift has prompted me to actively seek out intriguing art pieces to share. I believe this approach could be extended to my other channels as well. Here’s my current channel strategy:

Instagram for art.
Threads for music.
Facebook for very ocassional quotes.
Micro.blog/Personal blog for ideas, links and working on my Markdown skills.

I’m confident that maintaining this approach could yield benefits, not necessarily from direct interactions on the sites themselves, but from the development of my curatorial skills in posting this way. Time will tell…
